The Pan-African Medical Platform is a coordinated digital backbone intended to link clinical sites, teaching hospitals, and specialist consults across geographies. Design parameters were scoped during Concept Development in 2025. The platform is designed to extend clinical reach across distance through telemedicine, electronic records, decision support, and a structured patient-referral network, with engineering constraints that follow the bandwidth and power reality of remote operating geographies.
The project has transitioned from Concept Development to Partnership Development as of February 2026. During the current phase, African Sahara Charity Foundation is in stakeholder scoping with institutions in Kenya. The Foundation has not yet entered Fundraising, Planning, Implementation, or any operational phase, and does not represent otherwise. No partners, donors, or country activities beyond the Kenya focus are being announced in this update.
Each of the Foundation's projects carries one of the eight approved status labels — Concept Development, Feasibility Assessment, Partnership Development, Fundraising, Planning, Implementation, Operational, or Completed — and that label is shown directly on the corresponding project page.
