African Sahara Charity Foundation (ASCF) is a U.S.-domiciled Delaware non-stock nonprofit corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions may be tax-deductible in the United States to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Our work begins by building trusted partnerships with governments, healthcare institutions, universities, nonprofit organizations, technology partners, and private-sector leaders. We establish long-term collaborations before launching projects, ensuring that every initiative is locally supported, sustainable, and aligned with national healthcare priorities.

Our current operational focus is Kenya, where we are developing strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions and regulatory stakeholders. Over time, we will expand across Africa through strong institutional relationships, local leadership, and sustainable healthcare initiatives.

What we are not

  • We are not a short-term medical relief organization. Our mission is to strengthen long-term healthcare capacity through sustainable systems and local partnerships.
  • We do not announce projects before institutional partnerships, implementation plans, and governance structures are in place.
  • We do not replace local healthcare systems. We work alongside governments, healthcare professionals, and local organizations to strengthen existing capacity through collaboration, education, technology, and infrastructure development.
